Russian badges and tokens of the 19th – early 20th centuries from the collection of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts

This publication is the first catalogue raisonné of the unique collection of the Russian badges and tokens dated from the second half of the 19^th century to the first quarter of the 20^th century representing a masterpiece of the numismatic collection at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts. The book traces the history of the collection in question and key milestones in the circulation of these objects across Russia. The catalogue includes 358 items, predominantly badges, and circa 40 tokens. Appendix confines several pieces of the military uniform insignia and 15 badges for civil servants.
